Request a report using an applicable test method for the exact fabric or garment. Confirm whether the result reflects the chosen color, stretch and wet condition, then keep the marketing claim within the tested scope.
Identify the tested specimen
Check article, composition, color, weight and finish. A report for a similar fabric is not automatically evidence for your order.
Understand test conditions
Stretch and moisture may affect protection. Ask whether the intended use conditions are represented and whether the garment fit increases fabric extension.
Separate fabric rating and garment coverage
A high-rated fabric cannot protect skin the garment does not cover. Product copy should describe both accurately.
Control changes
New colors, lighter weights, finishes or suppliers may require review. Keep the approved report linked to the bill of materials.
