Direct answer

Specify content, dimensions, material, color, artwork version, placement, attachment, language and market requirements for every label and packaging component. Approve a physical or production-representative sample before bulk use.

Build a component list

Separate main, size, care, composition, origin, tracking, hangtag, sticker, bag and carton requirements. One phrase such as 'custom packaging' is not enough.

Control artwork and placement

Use final vector files, dimensions, colors and a placement diagram. Mark which information is regulatory and must not be altered.

Check wet-product practicality

Avoid rough labels, color transfer and packaging that traps moisture. Review removability, recyclability claims and retail handling against the real use case.

Reconcile packing

Define fold, individual pack, assortment, barcode, carton quantity, marks and limits before final inspection. Keep the approved packing specification with the purchase order.
