Fabric & construction

Build the feel and finish around your brief.

We commonly work with nylon, polyester and elastane stretch fabrics. The choices below are development options, not a composition declaration for the photographed style.

Fabric swatches prepared for material selection
01

Nylon / elastane

A stretch-fabric route to compare for your chosen surface and hand feel. Select the actual article, weight and color using a physical swatch.

02

Polyester / elastane

An alternative to evaluate for solid-color or printed development. Match any artwork and print process to the selected material.

03

Lining & internal support

Discuss lining color and coverage, cup preferences and elastic construction. Assess the shell and lining together in the finished sample.

Sizing & sample development

Size & Fit

Original size labels: S / M / L. Develop the size specification from your target measurements or reference garment. The brief below helps define the first fit sample.

Top
Bust and underbust targets; coverage and strap or tie lengths.
Bottom
Waist and hip targets; rise, side length and seat coverage.
Size combinations
Base sample size, grading increments and paired or separate sizing.

Agree body versus garment measurements, units, measuring points and tolerances before sample approval. Source size labels are not automatic US, UK or EU conversions.

OEM customization

Keep the idea. Make the details yours.

Use the photographed side ties, stripe pattern as visual references in your brief. Define the top and bottom coverage, fastening or tie preferences, and the details to retain. Agree any separate top / bottom size combinations in the brief.
